If you are interested in buying a property on the Costa Brava, we invite you to contact us via e-mail or telephone. In consultation with you we can make a search profile. This is done according to your wishes regarding type of property and surrounding / area and the amount of money that you want to invest. Buying property
With your search profile as a guide we inform you about available properties on the market. It may be that your future home is part of our own portfolio, but that is not necessary at all. You can e-mail us pictures, links and descriptions of properties that you found on other websites. Exclusivity on sale of real estate like it is standard in the UK, the Netherlands and many other European countries is not applicable to Spain. The seller offers his property normally for sale through several brokers. Costa Brava Luxury has deliberately chosen to act as purchasing agent. This means that we act on the interests of the buyer. You van count on a professional and honest advice and the best possible price negotiating if you choose for our services.

Buying Property
So even if you saw a property with another broker, you can choose us to be your agent and use our reliable services. We represent your interests in your own language during the purchasing process. You can count on a fair expert guidance. You pay no extra fee to us. Brokerage fees in Spain are exclusively for the account of the selling party. This means that if you choose to see properties from other agents with us, in case of a purchase, the brokerage fee paid by the seller to the other agent will simply be shared with us. For you it is especially nice that you do not have to make arrangements with various brokers and explain several times what you are exactly looking for. This work, we can take out of your hands. You only have to make us clear one time your wishes and specifications of the desired property and we can organize a program of properties from our own portfolio and from other brokers portfolios.

Inspection program
After some time of contact with us, a list of properties of your interest will exist that you may like to visit. If you want you can come to visit these homes in reality. You can book your flights through Ryanair and Transavia to Girona airport. If you appreciate this, we can ensure that you are being collected from the airport and brought to the hotel of your choice. All properties we offer for purchase are checked on legal correctness and will de double-checked again in case of purchasing.

NIE number
The necessary NIE number you need to be able to purchase a property in Spain can be arranged by our lawyer.

Mortgage in Spain or in the UK?
Because UK banks are not always easily financing a second home abroad it may be advisable and practical, to have a mortgage in Spain. In Spain it is customary that the mortgage loan is repaid in 25, 30, 35 years, depending on the age of the mortgage holder. When you have decided to buy a house the next step is to perform a valuation. Normally banks offer a mortgage up tof 70% of the appraised value.
